NO WATER AND SOAP AROUND? DISINFECTANT MAKES YOU FEEL SAFE.
Visible cleanliness gives us a good feeling – but appearances are often deceptive. This is because most germs are extremely small, and can only be seen through a microscope. A disinfectant makes absolutely certain that you are safe.
Cleanliness usually means there is no visible dirt. But in many areas of life, that doesn’t go far enough. Bacteria, viruses and fungal spores cannot be seen with the naked eye. Nonetheless, they can present a considerable risk when caring for patients or handling foods. Around 90% of germs are transmitted via the hands. That’s not surprising, as we shake hands when we greet each other, we hold on in the bus, open doors, pay for shopping... Our hands are always involved in our everyday activities. And at some point, more or less subconsciously, they reach our mouths, nose or eyes. Washing your hands thoroughly prevents infection because that gets rid of most germs. But using a special disinfectant is even safer.
